Orwell Design Associates has been working with the Space Engineering Services mechanical team to provide refrigeration design expertise on the delivery of an upgrade to a leading food distributor's existing HFC refrigerated Air Handling Unit system.
The aim is to make sure this design meets the clients requirements, whilst considering ease of installation, the long term performance of the unit and also setting the standard for any further work on this project.
So far, our expert design engineers have been responsible for the selection of appropriate pipework and components to connect the new AHU into the system.
Coordination with the technical team to design the new valve station assembly has been a key aspect of the process due to the location of the AHU, which sits externally on the side of the warehouse on a steel gantry with limited access available.
